MAHP applauds expanded dental benefits for Michigan Medicaid patients

LANSING, Mich. – Dominick Pallone, executive director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans, responds to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ (MDHHS)’ dental benefits expansion for adult Medicaid beneficiaries:

“MAHP supports MDHHS’ investment in expanded dental benefits for Medicaid beneficiaries and increased rates for dental providers. This change will lead to more positive health outcomes for Michigan residents by ensuring that routine dental services are covered while also enhancing provider care coordination.”
