MAHP Foundation Pinnacle Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Michigan’s Health Plans
The MAHP Foundation Pinnacle Awards recognize and celebrate the innovative programs and best practices of Michigan’s health plans that improve clinical outcomes, enhance member experiences, and strengthen community health. These awards highlight the exceptional work of MAHP member health plans in addressing healthcare challenges, advancing health equity, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to their members.
Program Overview
The Pinnacle Awards provide a platform for health plans to showcase their most impactful initiatives across three key categories:
1. Measurable Clinical Improvements
2. Improving Member Experience through Innovative Partnerships/Delivery Models
3. Community Collaboratives & Member Outreach
Each submission is evaluated by a panel of judges comprising healthcare professionals, employers, legislators, and media representatives. Winning programs demonstrate measurable outcomes, innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to reducing healthcare disparities and improving health equity.
To enhance participation and ensure the collection of evidence-based best practices, the Pinnacle Awards program has been reorganized. Moving forward, the awards will be presented every two years, allowing health plans more time to develop and refine their submissions. The next Pinnacle Awards reception will take place during MAHP’s 2026 Annual Conference.
