HAP Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Margaret Anderson is a Graduate of The Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit Class XLI
Health Alliance Plan (HAP) senior vice president, chief sales and marketing officer, Margaret Anderson, is a graduate of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit program, a 10-month transformational leadership program designed to challenge emerging and existing community leaders from Southeast Michigan to bring about positive change.
“I’ve long admired the Detroit Regional Chamber’s commitment to Detroit’s economic vitality and their ability to convene the region’s most influential leaders to move the needle and facilitate positive progress,” said Anderson. “It was an honor to participate in their Leadership Detroit program and enhance my understanding of Detroit’s challenges and opportunities.”
As part of Leadership Detroit’s Class XLI, Anderson graduated with 70 executives from across Southeast Michigan, representing a cross-section of the community including: business, organized labor, government, education, media, civic groups, health services, and community organizations.
“This group of leaders showcases the promise for the future of our city and region. Their diverse talents and dedication to imparting meaningful change in the Detroit community is an inspiration,” said Dan Piepszowski, senior director of community leadership development at the Detroit Regional Chamber. “This year’s Leadership Detroit graduates have embraced a host of challenges and changes to the program amid the turbulence of COVID-19, all the while demonstrating unwavering commitment to their peers and community. I’m certain they’ll continue on to great accomplishments and service.”
