MAHP applauds Gov. Whitmer’s directive to manufacture insulin and lower insulin pricing

LANSING, Mich. – Dominick Pallone, executive director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans, responds to Gov. Whitmer’s insulin production directive:

“We applaud the Gov. Whitmer’s recent executive directive that charts Michigan on a pioneering path to lower Insulin prices in Michigan. The governor’s call for state departments to be bold and innovative is refreshing and welcoming, and we thank her for her leadership on this important consumer issue.”
